Powell and Leslie (Willis) Peacock established Cousin Willie’s Smokehouse in November 2016. The vision is simple, create great food at an affordable cost with a down home family feel.
Powell, years ago, completed culinary school and has worked in various restaurants from 5 star fine dining to current competitors. Leslie is a HR Director by trade and has a secondary business as an HR Consultant with Conceptual HR Solutions, but is the business brain and the closet baker of Cousin Willie’s, making a perfect match in both restaurateur and marriage.
We want people to love our unpretentious but amazing food and spend time with their family around the lunch or dinner table. We have one son, Anderson, who is 6 and enjoys believing that he owns the restaurant. Really, we own the restaurant for him.
We also do many large catering events that don’t always include bar-b-que. Reach out to us for your next event.
